We’ll set off for the capital of the country, Bern, one of the most beautiful historic cities in Switzerland. We’ll go to the Rose Garden viewpoint to admire the beautiful landscape of the city, and you’ll have free time in the center. We’ll continue along a scenic road winding through stunning high mountain landscapes, passing charming villages with traditional wooden architecture and traveling through the Gstaad region, renowned for its ski resorts. We’ll include the cable car ride and lunch at Glacier 3000. From its terraces, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views and have the chance to walk across the suspension bridge that connects two peaks. After descending, we’ll journey toward Lake Geneva, an area known for its mild climate and extensive vineyards. We’ll visit Chillon Castle (tickets included), a medieval fortress built on the waters of the lake. Our journey will then take us through the heart of Montreux, an elegant town famous for its jazz festival, following the lake’s shoreline until we reach Geneva. Arrival will be at the end of the day.Note: Our hotel is usually located on the French outskirts of the city.

Note: Don’t forget to bring winter clothing and comfortable shoes, as we’ll be ascending to one of the most spectacular points in Switzerland, where you can admire ice and snow year-round. A raincoat is also recommended. If the day is sunny in the mountains, be sure to use sunscreen.
07:30 a.m. – Departure from Zurich. We’ll enjoy beautiful scenery along the way.
10:00 a.m. - Bern. Welcome to Switzerland’s capital, one of the country’s most charming historic cities. We’ll ascend to the Rose Garden for panoramic views from its lookout point. Afterward, you’ll have free time to stroll through the city center.
11:30 a.m. – Departure from Bern. We’ll continue our journey along a scenic road surrounded by majestic alpine landscapes, passing through the canton of Bern with its quaint wooden architecture, on our way to the Gstaad region, famous for its ski resorts.
01:30 p.m. - Glacier 3000. Cable car ride included to this station located 3,000 meters above sea level, covered in snow for most of the year. The station features various viewpoints offering breathtaking panoramas of more than 20 peaks over 4,000 meters tall. If you’re feeling brave, you can also walk across the 107-meter-long suspension bridge connecting two of these peaks. Lunch will be included.
04:30 p.m. - After descending from Glacier 3000, we’ll journey toward Lake Geneva in the French-speaking region of Switzerland, known for its mild climate and extensive vineyards.
05:15 p.m. – Chillon Castle (tickets included). We’ll stop to visit this medieval fortress built over the waters of Lake Geneva.
06:15 p.m. – Departure from Chillon Castle. We’ll continue along the lakeshore, passing through the center of Montreux, a sophisticated city renowned for its jazz festival.
07:45 p.m. - Geneva – We’ll arrive at our hotel by the end of the day, typically located on the French outskirts of the city.
Important note: In case of adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, the Glacier 3000 cable car may be closed. If this happens, we will offer an equally spectacular alternative to enjoy the alpine landscapes.
After breakfast, we’ll include a panoramic tour of Geneva, a city on the shores of Lake Geneva that is home to numerous international organizations. We’ll see the Palace of Nations, the beautiful English Garden with its famous flower clock, and admire the “Jet d’Eau,” the tallest fountain in Europe. Afterwards, you’ll have free time to explore and enjoy lunch.We’ll continue along the shores of Lake Geneva, passing through landscapes of vineyards and snow-capped mountains, until we reach Lausanne, a city in western Switzerland that is home to the International Olympic Committee. We’ll stop at the Olympic Park, located by the lake, an iconic space dedicated to sports and Olympic culture. Then, we’ll head to the walled town of Gruyeres, world-famous for its cheese. Nearby, you’ll find some of Switzerland´s top chocolate makers (including Nestlé and others). We’ll visit the Cailler Chocolate Factory, with a tasting included! We’ll then continue to Fribourg, a bilingual French/German city with a charming old town.Note: Occasionally, accommodation may be in a nearby city.

08:00 p.m.-After breakfast, it will be time to embark on a panoramic tour of Geneva, a city on the shores of Lake Geneva home to the European headquarters of the United Nations, the International Labour Organization, the Red Cross, and many other international organizations. We’ll visit the Palais des Nations (United Nations headquarters in Europe), the beautiful English Garden with its flower clock, and admire the “Jet d’Eau,” the tallest fountain in Europe. You’ll then have free time to explore and have lunch.
12:45 p.m. – Departure from Geneva, following the shores of Lake Geneva, passing through vineyard landscapes and snow-capped mountains on the horizon.
01:45 p.m. – Lausanne, a city in western Switzerland crossed by four rivers that carry water from the Alps into Lake Geneva. Lausanne is home to the International Olympic Committee, founded here in 1894. We’ll stop at the Olympic Park, located by the lake, an iconic space dedicated to sports and Olympic culture.
02:30 p.m. – Departure from Lausanne.
03:30 p.m. – Gruyeres. There will be time to stroll through the center of this picturesque walled town, famous for the production of the cheese that bears its name. Nearby are some of Switzerland’s leading chocolate manufacturers, such as Nestlé. We’ll visit the Cailler Chocolate Factory, and you’ll enjoy a sweet tasting.
06:00 p.m. – Departure from Gruyeres.
06:45 p.m. – Arrival in Fribourg area for accommodation.
Note: Due to the limited number of hotel options in Fribourg, accommodation will be in a nearby city.
We’ll depart along a small, scenic road through the Bern canton, passing hills, forests, and green fields. We’ll make a photo stop along the way, either at Schwarzenburg Castle or, depending on accommodation, at a viewpoint overlooking Lake Thun or Lake Brienz. We’ll then continue to Interlaken, a tourist town nestled between two lakes. Afterwards, we’ll head to the Aare Gorge, where we’ll explore its impressive ravines (tickets included), followed by lunch (included). Next, we’ll journey toward one of Switzerland’s most spectacular mountain passes—the Susten Pass—with its eternal snow and glaciers. We’ll stop en route to take in the majestic glacier scenery. Surrounded by dramatic peaks, we’ll continue toward the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, passing through the famous Gotthard Tunnel and stopping in Gandria, a charming lakeside village on Lake Lugano, known for its traditional, narrow, and steep streets. From there, we’ll board a boat (tickets included) to Lugano, the main city in Italian-speaking Switzerland, famous for its mild climate and beautiful lakeside promenade. Finally, we’ll head to Chiasso, arriving in the late afternoon.Note: -From late May to early October, the Susten Pass may be closed due to snow; in this case, we’ll travel through the equally stunning Brünig Pass.-Occasionally, accommodation will be in the Como metropolitan area.

08:00 a.m. – Departure from Fribourg. We’ll take a charming and scenic route through the canton of Bern, passing hills, forests, and green fields. We’ll make a photo stop along the way, either at Schwarzenburg Castle or, depending on accommodation, at a viewpoint over Lake Thun or Lake Brienz.
09:30 a.m. – Interlaken. We’ll stop for a stroll in this tourist town nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, from which it takes its name.
10:30 a.m. – Departure from Interlaken.
11:15 a.m. – Aare Gorge. Admission included to walk along the pathways and tunnels of this stunning 200-meter-deep, 1.4 km-long gorge carved into limestone by the Aar River. Lunch will be included.
01:00 p.m. – Departure from Aare Gorge. We’ll head toward one of Switzerland’s most spectacular mountain passes: the Susten Pass—known for its eternal snow and glaciers. We’ll stop along the way to enjoy this breathtaking high-mountain glacial scenery. Surrounded by these impressive landscapes, we’ll continue toward the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, crossing the famous 17 km-long Gotthard Tunnel.
04:00 p.m. – Lugano. We’ll take a 40-minute boat trip on the lake (tickets included), surrounded by alpine landscape and elegant villages in one of the most refine areas of Switzerland. We will then have free time to stroll through this Italian-style town, a popular tourist destination, famous for its lakeside promenade.
06:30 p.m. – Departure from Lugano.
07:00 p.m. – Arrival in Chiasso, a Swiss city on the border with Italy.

- From late May to early October, the Susten Pass may be closed due to snow. In that case, we’ll travel via the Brünig Pass, which is also very scenic.
-In winter, the Aareschlucht Falls are closed, so we’ll visit the charming towns of Brienz and Meiringen instead.
-Sometimes, we will take The boat from Gandria and Lugano.
-Occasionally, accommodation may be in the metropolitan area of Como.
After breakfast, we’ll depart for Bellinzona, the capital of Italian-speaking Switzerland, renowned for its three medieval castles which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You’ll have time to stroll through the picturesque streets of the city center. We’ll then head back toward the German-speaking region of Switzerland, crossing the Gotthard Pass, where we’ll stop for a photo at a stunning viewpoint. Our next stop will be Altdorf, the capital of the Uri canton, known as the birthplace of William Tell and one of the founding cantons of independent Switzerland. You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch. Afterward, we’ll head to Lucerne, where you can visit the famous Kapellbrücke, the Lion Monument, the cathedral, the Jesuit Church, and the beautiful old town. Lucerne is considered the tourist capital of Switzerland.

09:30 a.m. – Bellinzona. Free time in the capital of Italian-speaking Switzerland, renowned for its three medieval castles, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perched on the hills, these castles played a key historical role as Alpine fortifications.
10:30 a.m. – Departure from Bellinzona, heading toward the German-speaking region of Switzerland. We’ll cross the Gotthard Pass, with a photo stop at a breathtaking viewpoint.
12:45 p.m. – Arrival in Altdorf, the capital of the canton of Uri and the birthplace of William Tell. It is also one of the founding cantons of independent Switzerland. You’ll have time to stroll and enjoy lunch.

You’ll have the chance to visit iconic landmarks such as the Kapellbrücke, the Lion Monument, the cathedral, the Jesuit Church, and the charming old town. The rest of the afternoon will be yours to explore. If you wish, you can take a cruise on Lake Lucerne to experience the city from the water as well.
We’ll depart, skirting the shores of the Lake of the Four Cantons as we head toward Einsiedeln, renowned for its immense baroque abbey, the most important pilgrimage center in Switzerland. Continuing east, we’ll visit Heididorf, where we’ll see Heidi’s House (admission not included), a picturesque site with stunning landscapes accessible via a pedestrian path. Next, we’ll enter the small independent country of Liechtenstein, and in its capital, Vaduz, nestled beneath its castle, you’ll have free time to stroll and enjoy lunch. Afterwards, we’ll proceed to the neighboring city of Feldkirch in Austria, a charming walled city near the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany, with a beautiful medieval quarter and castle. 08:00 a.m. – Departure from Lucerne. We’ll travel around Lake Lucerne, also known as the Lake of the Four Cantons.
09:15 a.m. - Einsiedeln. Its immense baroque abbey is the main point of pilgrimage in Switzerland. You’ll have time to visit it if you wish and to take a stroll around the city.
10:15 a.m. – Departure from Einsiedeln. We’ll travel eastward towards the border of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Austria, passing through beautiful landscapes of hills and lakes. We’ll drive through the picturesque village of Maienfeld, the inspiration for the novel/story of Heidi, famous for its cartoon adaptation.
11:30 p.m. - Heididorf. We’ll stop at the place where "Heidi’s House" is located, a picturesque spot with beautiful landscapes that we’ll reach via a pedestrian path (tickets not included).
12:30 p.m. – Departure from Heididorf. We’ll enter the small independent country of Liechtenstein.
01:00 p.m. - Vaduz. You’ll have time to stroll and enjoy lunch in the charming capital of Liechtenstein, under the graceful shadow of its castle.
02:30 p.m. – Departure from Vaduz.
03:00 p.m. - Feldkirch. Arrival to explore this charming walled city with a beautiful medieval center and a castle in Austria, near the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany. You’ll have free time, during which, if you wish, you can opt for an excursion to the delightful village of Appenzell, known for its painted façades and local beer.
We’ll depart for St. Gallen, whose historic center has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll include admission to the library of its magnificent abbey, featuring a baroque hall that houses 170,000 volumes and the Egyptian mummy of Schepenese. The library is also UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey along the shores of Lake Constance, situated between Germany and Switzerland, until we reach Constance, a German city with a beautiful medieval old town known for its cathedral and the Market Square. You’ll have time to stroll and enjoy lunch. We’ll then return to Switzerland to visit Stein am Rhein, a charming village on the banks of the Rhine, famous for its beautifully painted houses. We’ll also visit the Rhine Falls (tickets included), the most powerful waterfalls in Europe. We recommend an optional boat ride that will make you feel like you can almost touch the cascading waters. Arrival in Zurich will be in the evening.

Its magnificent baroque cathedral houses the library (admission included), which holds 170,000 volumes, including manuscripts over a thousand years old and the 2,700-year-old Egyptian mummy of Schepenese. The rococo hall of the library is considered the most beautiful in Switzerland, and the Abbey District is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.
11:00 a.m. – Departure from St. Gallen. We’ll continue our route along the shores of Lake Constance, situated between Germany and Switzerland.
12:00 p.m. – Constance. Free time to stroll and have lunch in this German city with a beautiful medieval old town, notable for its cathedral and Market Square.
02:15 p.m. – Departure from Constance.
03:00 p.m. – Stein Am Rhein. A very picturesque town on the banks of the Rhine, famous for its beautifully painted houses.
04:00 p.m. – Departure from Stein Am Rhein.
04:30 p.m. – Rhine Falls (admission included). We’ll make a stop to visit the most powerful waterfalls in Europe. We recommend an optional boat ride that will make you feel like you can almost touch the cascading waters.

With our guide, we’ll explore Zurich, the most populous city in Switzerland, and its financial and cultural heart. Known for its banks, Zurich has been twice recognized as the city with the best quality of life in the world. Afterwards, we’ll embark on a scenic cruise of nearly two hours on Lake Zurich, with brief stops to enjoy the charming villages along the route. We’ll disembark in Rapperswil, a picturesque village renowned for its medieval castle. We’ll return to Zurich by train, providing an opportunity to experience the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railway system.Note: Depending on the number of travelers, transfers to and from the city center may be via public transport.

12:30 p.m. - Rapperswil - Arriving in this quaint and picturesque village, famous for its medieval castle, there will be time to explore and enjoy lunch.
03:00 p.m. - We’ll return to Zurich by train, experiencing the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railway system. The journey back to Zurich will take just under 35 minutes. Afterward, you´ll have free time to explore the city on your own.
